Service Interruption Notice
Some systems will be temporarily unavailable during the off-peak hours of September 30, 2026, as we complete system updates to support the transition from Ontario One Call to Ontario Dig Authority.
Beginning at 7:00 p.m., our phone system will be transitioned. During this time, there may be a brief interruption to phone services.
Beginning at 9:00 p.m., the web portal will be unavailable for approximately four hours while updates are completed.
We are working to restore all services as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience. We ask that non-urgent locate requests be submitted once service has been restored.
Emergency, Priority 0, and Sewer Lateral requests will continue to be available through our phone service.

What to do Before you Dig
Step 1:
Contact Ontario
Dig Authority
At least 5 business days before you dig, submit a locate request. We will notify buried infrastructure owners that you plan to dig.
Step 2:
Get Locates
Each utility company will send a utility locator to mark the location of buried lines and cables at your dig site for free.
Step 3:
Dig Safely
Dig safely. Respect the marks and follow the instructions that are provided by the locator.
Has your project changed?
You MUST request a new locate if your project changes.
